I came across a post recently from the blog hosted by ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. The author clearly articulates some unspoken divisions in any church, and then does a good job of re-framing the conversation. It's short and definitely worth reading.

I agree - the church can become insular so easily and then Christians are so unable to reach to the individuals who comprise the world at large at a heart level because it is preoccupied with small matters that don't actually matter as much as the great commission.
